How
much does glossy paper cost? On
the average, paper materials make up about 1/3 of the
average cost of printing. The cost of paper can vary considerably.
Heres an example, 20# bond/offset may cost $20.00 per
thousand, while 80# gloss may cost $60.00 per thousand
for the same size. Buying quantities can make a significant
difference in large orders, however, in small orders of
1000 or less, the savings is hardly noticable.

Do
you have a price list? We do not
have a set price list. We try to keep our prices as low
as possible. On most projects, we will quote a price specifically
for your needs. This way our prices stay low and you stay
happy.

Is
it cheaper if we order a large quantity?
Yes. Ordinarily this is true, since most of the cost of
producing any printing job is in the preparation for printing
that very first sheet. The printing press can then produce
several thousand copies in a short time. New technology,
however, is changing this old rule. Digital copiers and
printers can go from computer to press to finished in minutes,
eliminating many steps previously needed by offset printing.
These methods are charged by the copy and thus volume does
not lower the price per piece as dramatically as do traditional
method. The upside being that you don't have to order large
quantities to get a good price. This leaves opportunity
for changes and fresh information as you see fit.

Do
you do all your own work locally?
No, and frankly no printing company does. The fact is,
even the largest printing companies cannot have every
piece of equipment, and the necessary trained employees
to do every kind of printing job that is possible. Our
experience makes it possible to choose from our trusted
network of printing professionals. This saves time and
money. We do, however, produce the greater percentage
of our volume of digital and offset printing right here
in our own shop on Turner Street in Springdale, AR. We
also have a full service bindery at this location.
|
What
is the largest size you can print? 13"
x 19" is the largest size for our specific equipment..,however,
we have access to large format printers and presses. That
makes it possible for us to tackle any job regardless
of size. Don't be misled into thinking that just because
we appear to be a small business that we can't handle
the large projects. Technology is changing the printing
business and we strive to be on the cutting edge.

What
kind of binding can you do? Binding can
take many forms, and we offer most of them. The most common
is loose leaf drilled for ring binding and padding (example:
scratch pads). For booklets, the saddle stitch is the
most common and least expensive. GBC and spiral binding
are options for larger books that need to open flat. Perfect
binding (square back with glued corners) is a good option
for large quantities of thick books. Hard back binding
is expensive and requires large quantities in order to
be cost effective.

Can
I use coated or textured paper?
Colored and textured papers do cost more and in addition
they can be troublesome in printing.
Extra care should be taken when planning to use special
stock. |
